He said that the objective of the finance minister has to be a resumption of the economy to pre-COVID level. Rolling our vaccination programme in credible manner is must. An adequate funding is needed for states and Centre for vaccination. Government should aim to subside private sector for vaccination. Also, continued protection of poorer sections through high allocation MNREGA and DBT sbould be looked at. There is no information available on the sectors where jobs market didn't recover.
