    Security deployed at Ghazipur & Singhu Border; farmers asked to vacate protest site

    Security deployment has been made on two of the border points around Delhi, Singhu border and Ghazipur border. Earlier, there was a march also which was conducted by the Delhi police. Reinforcement has been sent at the Singhu border. Similarly, the Rapid Action Force has been deployed at the Ghazipur border. Last night the administration cut off the electricity supply at the borders. A notice was also put up on the tent where farmer leader Rakesh Tikait stayed. The farmers are asked to vacate the protest site. Police is taking a stern action on the protestors after the Red Fort violence.

    Lucknow (UP), Jan 28 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh ADG (Law and Order), Prashant Kumar informed that farmers at Bagpat have ended their protest against the three agriculture laws on the night of January 27. “Opposing the 26 Jan incident, few farmer organisations voluntarily ended their protest from Chilla Border & Dalit Prerna Sthal. As far as Bagpat is concerned, local officials told us that they explained to farmers the ongoing NHAI project and they ended protest last night,” informed UP ADG (Law and Order).
